A woman has been found dead in a room at Perth’s Crown Towers hotel.
The body of the woman in her 30s was found at the five star hotel about 11am today.
A man was also there with what is believed to have been serious self-inflicted injuries.
The 42-year-old man was rushed to Royal Perth Hospital. He has since been discharged into police custody.
It’s understood the man and woman knew each other.
The circumstances leading up to the woman’s death are under investigation.
Several police vehicles and an ambulance were stationed outside the hotel this afternoon and police also guarded a car park.
Crown Resorts says it is supporting its team members and the company is assisting police with the homicide probe.
Charges are yet to be laid and police want anyone with information to come forward.
