Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson has made headlines once again, this time for his decision to turn down a hefty $3 million offer to perform at a recent Trump rally held at Madison Square Garden.
In an interview with DJ Envy on The Breakfast Club, the iconic rapper revealed he was approached by Donald Trump’s team to join the lineup but opted to remain apolitical.
“I got a call,” 50 Cent confirmed, adding that the invitation came just days before Trump’s rally on October 27.
The rapper was also offered a chance to perform at the Republican National Convention, although he did not disclose the amount for that opportunity.

50 Cent explained his hesitance to engage with political events, stating, “I’m afraid about politics.”
He elaborated on the risks of entering the political arena, noting that it can lead to heated disagreements.
“When you do get involved in it, no matter how you feel, someone passionately disagrees with you. That’s the formula for confusion,” he said, referencing Kanye West’s controversial political journey and subsequent challenges in the music industry.
